11th IVR Colloquium 2026
On Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30, 2026, the 11th edition of the IVR Colloquium will take place in Budapest, Hungary.
The IVR organizes colloquia to promote the implementation of international conventions in the field of transport and liability and to recommend international conditions and transport documents. In 2023, the 10th edition took place in Vienna. The IVR colloquia bring together the various international inland navigation and related sectors and offer members a high-level network.

Location
The 11th IVR Colloquium will take place at the beautiful Párisi Udvar Hotel. The hotel is located in a historic building in the center of Budapest. The building was constructed in the early 20th century and is known for its unique architecture, which combines elements from various styles, including Art Nouveau, Neo-Gothic, and Moorish influences. Originally, the building functioned as a covered shopping arcade and bank. After a thorough renovation, it was transformed into a hotel, retaining many of its original details. Today, the Párisi Udvar combines historic architecture with modern amenities and is a recognizable part of Budapest’s city heritage.
