7de Colloquium Bratislava

Op 7 en 8 februari 2013 werd het 7de Colloquium in Bratislava georganiseerd. Daarbij werd over de actuele ontwikkelingen op het gebied van het transport- en aansprakelijkheidsrecht in de binnenvaart gedebatteerd. Het Colloquium stond onder het beschermheerschap van het Slowaakse Transportministerie en de rivierencommissies van Rijn en Donau. In zijn openingsrede sprak de Slowaakse Staatssecretaris van Transport zijn steun aan de binnenvaart toe.
Actuele aanleiding voor de organisatie van het 7de Colloquium was de totstandkoming van het nieuwe aansprakelijkheidsbeperkingsverdrag in de binnenvaart, het zogenaamde CLNI verdrag van 2012. Dit verdrag werd inmiddels door 5 Staten ondertekend.
